Students meet in the Albany High parking lot and are bussed to Jiminy Peak.The Albany High School Ski Club is a student organization that provides opportunities for students to enjoy skiing and snowboarding trips during the winter season. The club promotes outdoor recreation, physical fitness and camaraderie among participants. This club is open to students of all skill levels and the club organizes regular trips to nearby ski resorts, offering a fun and active way to experience winter sports in a supportive environment.

Students have the opportunity to develop their creativity, leadership and situational thinking with Albany High Mock Trial/ Speech and Debate team. In the courtroom and in competitions, students will be honing their public speaking skills, creating and defending a position or argument and building confidence. This club is based on simulations in the court room as a lawyer or a witness. Students work individually and collaboratively. Our team works with local lawyers and judges to create a case with a fact pattern that is provided by the NYS Bar association. Additional meeting times will be added once a trial is assigned to the group.
