Tonight, Friday, March 7, is the opening night of "Bring It On: the Musical" at Albany High. Check out the and be sure to come support our Falcons who have rehearsed countless hours to create something truly special for the audience to enjoy! From our students who are on stage in the limelight to those who have less visual roles—like our pit orchestra and stage crew—we are blown away by your talent and can't wait to see you shine!

All-City Strings Concert
Our Falcons put on a beautiful performance Wednesday evening at the , featuring elementary, middle and high school students from throughout the district!
Congratulations to our talented student musicians and dedicated orchestra teachers for an evening of outstanding music, and a big thank you to all our families and community members who showed up to support music in our schools.

Outstanding artists
We are thrilled to announce that will have their artwork displayed in the 26th Annual High School Regional Juried Art Exhibition, held at The Albany Center Gallery, located at 488 Broadway, Suite 107, Albany! The exhibition opens to the public on Friday, March 21 and runs until Friday, April 18. The gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. Read this news story to learn more.

Here at Albany High we work hard to share meaningful information and opportunities with our Falcons as they start to look for work experience!
- The City of Albany is accepting applications through March 31 for the 2025 LIGHT Summer Youth Employment Program. The program is open to youth aged 14-18 who live in Albany. Youth employees will a total of 100 hours and earn $15.50 per hour. Read our news story for more information.
- On Tuesday, March 4, students had the opportunity to attend a presentation led by Department of Labor Commissioner Reardon. Read our news story, which includes links to valuable resources and opportunities for our Falcons.

On Wednesday, our Albany High students participated in a vibrant celebration of Black History Month at the Abrookin Career and Technical Education Center! The festivities featured singing, drumming, step dancing, the presentation of writing awards and an engaging performance by a local re-enactor who brought Shirley Chisholm to life. Winter sports are heating up
Our winter sports season is heating up as many teams advance to post-season competitions.
On Saturday, our Albany High boys' indoor track and field team had an outstanding performance at the state qualifying meet held at Hudson Valley 番茄社区 College. On Wednesday evening, our in the quarterfinals, beating Saratoga Springs 73-30.

Come see our Falcons perform with many other talented instrumentalists from across the City School District of Albany at the All-City Strings Concert on Wednesday, March 5!
