- As a reminder, there is no school tomorrow (Wednesday, Jan. 29) in observance of Lunar New Year.
- Unfortunately, our Junior Falcon Wellness Program is cancelled this week. There will be no food distribution this Thursday (Jan. 30). The program will resume on Feb. 7. Please for a list of local food pantry locations throughout Albany.

- Grade 6 teacher Joe DeMilia has resigned effective Jan. 29. The position was posted and a successful candidate has been submitted and is pending board approval. Until the new hire begins, building substitute Jonothan Snyder will cover DeMilia's classes.
- On Feb. 13, Myers students who will be at least 14 years-old by March 31 will be invited to a presentation by the City of Albany Youth and Workforce Services Department. At the meeting, we will review the entire process to register for the and answer any questions. Students will be provided with information to bring home.
- Registration for co-ed modified swimming (grades 7-8) will be open until Jan. 31. Details can be found the district's Athletics page. Please note you must be registered via FinalForms and have an up-to-date physical.
