COVID-19: Health and safety
This page contains health and safety specific to our school's ongoing COVID-19 response.
Overview
The information below is intended as an overview of key points of our school's health and safety response to COVID-19.
For additional details on these topics and more, please consult the district's full 2020-21 Reopening Plan.
Our screening tool will send an email with a link to a health screener each morning at 2:05 a.m., so that it will be available for you when you begin your day. The screener can also be accessed using the button below. Learn more about our screener.
Students will use a designated entrance during both arrival and dismissal.
Students will have their temperature screened upon arrival. Any student with a temperature greater or equal to 100°F will be brought to a dedicated isolation area to await pickup by a parent or guardian.
Students are expected to wear appropriate masks during the school day, and while on the bus.
Hand sanitization stations will be available in learning spaces and throughout the building. Students will also be given multiple opportunities to wash their hands throughout the day.
Classrooms will be disinfected at least once daily, and whenever else necessary.
Classrooms will be set up to ensure social distancing guidelines are met. In general, students will remain in the classroom, with teachers traveling between classes.
Breakfast will be grab-and-go upon arrival, and eaten in the classroom. Lunch will delivered to and eaten in the classroom as well (lunches can also be brought from home).

While visitors are still welcome, please be aware that the district is limiting visitors to help minimize the spread of COVID-19. All visitors must schedule an appointment with the main office to ensure everyone's safety. We are unable to accommodate drop-in visits at this time.
Students enrolled in the virtual option who are still in need of technology should contact the main office for assistance. At the current time, the district is using a one-Chromebook-per-family model. However, the district anticipates moving to a 1:1 computing model for all students early in the school year. Please watch for more information about picking up devices once the district has received them.
Students who are not feeling well but not displaying COVID-19 symptoms will be evaluated by our school nurse as usual. Students who are not feeling well and are displaying COVID-19 symptoms will be brought to a dedicated isolation space to be examined, and a parent/guardian will be notified for pickup.
