- Please note that students do not have school next Friday (Feb. 7) due to parent/teacher conferences and staff professional development.
- You're invited! Please join us on Wednesday, Feb. 12 from 5-7 p.m. for our school community's Black History Month celebration. The special evening will honor Black history, culture and achievements and will feature student presentations, performances and a complimentary dinner for all attendees ( by Feb. 6). Additionally, start planning for these upcoming fun, special and creative Black history themed days:
- Feb. 10: Do it for the Culture Day (wear traditional clothing)
- Feb. 11: Crazy Hair Day (honoring Madame C.J. Walker)
- Feb. 12: HBCU Day (rep your favorite historically black college/university)
- Feb. 13: Black Excellence Day (dress in formal or culturally inspired attire)
- Feb. 14: Red, Black and Green Day (show cultural pride with these colors)

- Eagle Point Elementary School made us the recipient of a special service-learning project and NAMS art teacher Caitlin Sweet to display the Doves of Peace.
- of Atheena Feenan's flower pot project in FACS is now complete!
