Girls' STEM Camp
This camp is designed for middle school girls in grade 6 or 7 who are interested in science, technology, engineering and math.
The five-day camp is free and will be offered from Aug. 12-16 and again from Aug. 19-23, with each session accommodating 24 students. If more applications are received than there are spaces, enrollment will be conducted by a lottery. Please note that the content is the same for both five-day sessions, and students can only participate in one.
The deadline to apply is June 10.
Please note, we also offer an elementary girls' STEM camp, but that program is filled by teacher recommendation.
This program is open to any City School District of Albany girls who are currently in grades 6 or 7.
Space is limited, so please note that students must attend all five days if they are selected for the program.
Students should be willing to participate in all camp activities, which include:
- Outdoor exploration
- Coding and robotics
- Engineering design
- Field trip
