  • Student safety – Please see this message from Principal Jodi Commerford about student safety during the after-school commute.
     
  • Parent-teacher conferences – Our fall parent-teacher conferences are on Oct. 24 and 25. We encourage parents/guardians to from Principal Jodi Commerford.

  • Fishy field trip – On Oct. 10, students from Albany High participated in “A Day in the Life of the Hudson and Harbor.” to see them collecting data on fish, water chemistry, tides and more!
     
  • Athletic achievements – Our boys’ and girls’ cross country teams had a standout performance at the on Oct. 11 with Noah Bizer and Annebelle DiStefano both finishing in first place. We also celebrated on Oct. 15.

  • PSAT deadline - Albany High School will administer the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT) on Friday, Oct. 25 at 8:30 a.m. There is no school this day due to staff development and parent-teacher conferences. Any sophomore or junior may take the test. . The cost is $18 and the final deadline for registering is Wednesday, Oct. 23.
